Kossuth County’s engineer updated supervisors on secondary-road operations: crack filling will finish this week on listed roads, slurry‑leveling/overlay contractor is preparing to start work and resurfacing under contract is scheduled to begin June 2, starting with the mile between P30 and McGregor. The engineer said site coordination with Smithfield is ongoing and staff set up a group email to handle notices and entrance access impacts.
