Board orders retroactive pay to correct custodial payroll error

The board approved a pay adjustment to cover the 20 days owed; staff said the necessary funding is available in the budget and asked the board to authorize the payout. The board made the motion and approved it by roll call. Payroll and human-resources staff were tasked to process the retroactive payments and report back when complete.
The board emphasized the action was intended to correct the district error and to ensure staff were made whole for time already worked.
