At the April 21 meeting the Lake County Board of Education approved a motion to correct a payroll error affecting custodial staff. District staff told the board custodians had been converted from 200-day to 220-day contracts and were intended to move to a 240-day schedule this year; a keystroke error resulted in pay remaining at the 220-day level even though staff worked the longer schedule.
