The application was presented to the board by Kelsey Lanham, a land use planner with Elbert County Community and Development Services. Lanham told commissioners the subject property (parcel number 64251-00-023) has no structures, is just southeast of the Sun Country subdivision, and is outlined in the applicant’s exhibits. She said the applicant, John Wilson, requested the full parcel be rezoned to RA and that the application met the county’s noticing requirements and the review criteria in the Elbert County Zoning Regulations.
