Parks, Recreation and Golf advisory committee recommends becoming a commission
The Commerce City Parks, Recreation and Golf (PRG) Advisory Committee delivered its annual update and voted to recommend that the city convert the advisory committee into a commission named the Park, Recreation and Golf Commission; it also recommended not creating a separate golf advisory committee at this time.

Delilah Collins, co-chair of the Parks, Recreation and Golf Advisory Committee, told the Commerce City Council that the committee recommends changing its status from an advisory committee to a commission and adopting the name "Park, Recreation and Golf Commission." The committee also recommended not creating a separate golf advisory committee for now.
