Board previews convocation center operator selection; foundation to execute management contract

Doctor Jesse Goree and Dr. Simpson (district liaison) presented an executive summary and recommendation on the RFP to operate the Convocation Center. The recommendation named a single vendor (white production / TRP Now Incorporated as presented in packet) with a 20% participation component; staff said the foundation, not the district, will execute and operate under the proposed arrangement.
