Appleton committee approves Veterans Park renaming process, allows broader name suggestions
The Appleton City Parks and Recreation Committee approved a renaming process for Veterans Park on Aug. 25, 2025, voting 4-0 to adopt staff’s timeline and to allow consideration of names or concepts that do not strictly fit the existing naming policy.
