Commission opens EMS bids; two proposals submitted, review pending
Two bids for emergency medical services were opened at the meeting. One proposal from Deaconess EMS outlined a request for an approximately $800,000 per-year subsidy with a 5% annual increase; another bidder requested roughly $525,000. Commissioners said no decision would be made at the meeting and that they will review both bids.
