Boone County Drainage Board approves minutes, drain vacation and four development actions

The Boone County Drainage Board voted unanimously by voice to approve several routine and development items during a meeting that included staff presentations from the surveyor’s office and outside engineering consultants.
Board members first approved the minutes for the July meeting and then approved an order to partially vacate the Upper Small regulated legal drain near County Road 300, adjacent to the future Liberty Village subdivision. Carol from the surveyor’s office told the board that Kathy had prepared the order for signature and that the item was “rolling today.” The board approved the partial vacation by voice vote.
The board also approved site plans for two development projects. Carrie Daley of Christopher Burke Engineering recommended approval of the Gerber Collision auto-repair site, a 1.7-acre lot adjacent to an existing Tractor Supply in the Crosby and Whitestown development.
