Nola Dixon, a fifth grader at Byers Dowdy Elementary School, told the Lebanon City Council that the walk to and from school felt unsafe because some roads are busy and narrow. Her mother, speaking from the podium, read Nola’s prepared comments and said Nola invited council members to observe school arrival and dismissal.
