Bexar County Commissioners Court on April 8 adopted a resolution supporting the Great Springs Project (GSP) vision and directed county staff to collaborate with GSP and local stakeholders to study a proposed East‑Side greenway linking downtown (Hay Street Bridge) to the Salado Creek Greenway. The GSP is a regional nonprofit that promotes a trail network connecting San Antonio to Austin along Edwards Aquifer recharge areas.
