During the hearing the committee considered a bill draft (BDR R‑eleven 63) that would declare April 2025 Financial Literacy Month. Senator Daley moved to introduce the draft and Senator Krasner seconded. The committee voted “aye” (3–0). The secretary recorded the vote as: Senators Krasner, Vice Chair Daley and the Chair voting in favor; Senator Steinbeck and the majority leader were recorded as excused.
