Commissioners asked technical questions about whether the revised gallons-per-day figures would change pipe-sizing or pressure requirements; Olsen said the planning presentation updates only the comp-plan language and that technical questions about system capacity, pressure and pipe sizing would be addressed by CCUA staff at the upcoming BCC hearing. No members of the public spoke during the item.
After brief discussion, a commissioner moved to transmit the amendment and a second was recorded. The commission voted verbally in favor and the motion passed.
The transmittal advances the draft comp-plan text to the BCC and to state review; staff and Olsen noted that CCUA representatives are expected to attend the BCC hearing to answer system-technical questions that the Planning Commission does not resolve.
