Nye County voted to approve a license and services agreement with Tyler Technologies to purchase and implement an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that county staff said will consolidate financial and permitting workflows.
Brad Adams, Nye County IT director, presented the backup for the combined item. County staff said the system will replace aging legacy applications and bring point‑of‑sale and other collections into the county’s main accounting system. The agenda listed a cost of $650,035.55 to be funded from capital.
A commissioner moved to approve and execute the agreement and to fund the project from the capital fund listed in the agenda materials; the board voted unanimously to approve the contract. Staff said implementation will include configuration work, vendor support and a timeline to minimize disruption during cutover.
