Chief Justice Patricia Guerrero said she appointed a Judicial Council task force to study artificial intelligence in court operations. Led by Administrative Presiding Justice Brad Hill, Administrative Presiding Justice Mary Greenwood, and Judge Arturo Castro, the task force has developed a model use policy outlining guardrails for generative AI and has circulated a draft rule of court for public comment.
