Ada County commissioners approve multiple routine awards, proclamations and permits

The Ada County Board of Commissioners on March 18 approved a series of routine actions including a procurement award for landfill road mix, two resolutions, numerous licensing items and standard claims and personnel matters.

The board voted unanimously to award bid 25032 (Eddy County Landfill road mix) to Compliance Solutions and Contracting LLC at $17.10 per ton, following a recommendation from the county procurement evaluation group. The board also adopted Resolution 3079 (sale of county personal property, vehicles, parts and accessories) and Resolution 3080 (procurement of a temporary jail kitchen complex on the open market) as listed on the agenda.

The meeting included approvals of a cellular solicitor license, three catering permits, one alcohol license transfer and 137 alcohol license renewals, the claims journal dated March 14, 2025, personnel actions listed on the agenda, minutes, event agreements for Expo Idaho and Barber Park, and 12 additional agreements identified on the agenda. The board also approved recommendations from Indigent Services staff as listed on the summary of cases dated March 18, 2025.

Procurement staff said the evaluation team reviewed bids received for bid 25032 and recommended Compliance Solutions and Contracting LLC as the most responsive bidder. After a motion and second, the chair called for the vote; commissioners responded “aye” and the motion carried.

Several agenda items were handled with little discussion and passed on unanimous voice votes. Where staff requested additional review time, the board agreed to hold further action at a future meeting (see separate article on the Expo Idaho lighting project). The board authorized the chair to sign approved documents on behalf of the board where indicated.

The meeting adjourned after the board completed the listed business.
