The Sumner County Board of Education discussed Policy 1.2021, a set of seven proposed "board norms," at its March 4 study session ahead of a first reading. A board member described the norms as an internal agreement on how members "act like adults together," and staff confirmed adoption of the norms would be voluntary and not a legal enforcement tool.
