The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors approved a package of routine administrative and operational items during its meeting, including a new subfund for an emergency response complex, appointment of legal representation for union negotiations with the sheriff’s deputies, two Iowa Department of Transportation detour agreements for US 18 east of Algona, and extension of longevity pay beyond 20 years for non‑union employees.
