Huber Heights council approves code updates, appointments and development agreements in unanimous votes

Huber Heights City Council voted unanimously on a set of ordinances, resolutions and appointments during its March 10, 2025, regular meeting, approving updates to the city code, multiple commission appointments, contracts and development items.

The actions were largely procedural and passed on voice or roll-call votes with an 8-0 tally unless noted. Key items approved included city-code supplements (Supplement 20 and an initial reading for Supplement 21), appointments to multiple citizen commissions, a development agreement for the Creekside Woods project, adoption of the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base compatibility use plan in good faith, continuation of participation in the Montgomery County multi-jurisdictional hazard mitigation plan, solicitation of bids for tennis-court repairs, purchase and installation of a multisport court at Community Park, surplus declaration of police vehicles, authorization to solicit a janitorial-services contract, and a resolution supporting preservation of the federal tax exemption for municipal bonds. The council also appointed Jason Antonik as the city’s economic development director and approved appointments to the Community Improvement Corporation (CIC) board.
