Commissioners approve engineering services for YMCA pool ceiling and HVAC replacement

The county agreement with the EADS Group covers architectural and engineering services for $66,790 and includes site investigation and project planning. Staff told commissioners that the YMCA’s swim season generally runs September through March and that the work is expected to be carried out during the summer of 2026 because of material lead times.
The presenter noted that prevailing wage rates will apply because the contracts will exceed $25,000. Commissioners moved, seconded and approved the agreement by voice vote.
