Committee approves two bills on voter-roll removals and DMV reporting
The Senate Federal and State Affairs Committee passed House Bill 2016, allowing county election officers to use local funeral-home obituary notices to remove deceased voters, and House Bill 2020, requiring the DMV to report noncitizen driver's-licensing data to the Secretary of State for voter-roll comparison.
