City staff told the Clinton City Council on July 8 that the city will issue a truth-in-taxation notice that will show roughly $4.4 million in certified revenue and a 7.06% increase compared with the county—s prior projection; staff said the notice will estimate an impact of about $38 per household. The manager said the notice will be sent according to state law and invited residents to contact city staff or the CFO with budget questions before the scheduled hearing on Aug. 5.
