The Buncombe County Board of Commissioners on June 17 adopted a resolution appointing Curtis Euler as the county attorney.
Karen Marshall of human resources introduced the resolution and the board moved to adopt it. A commissioner made the motion to appoint Euler and Commissioner Wells seconded; the board voted in favor and the motion carried.
Curtis Euler addressed the board and thanked his team and supporters in the audience. "I really am appreciative of the my team and the people that I work with...they're a great team, and I I'm very touched that they're here. So thank you. And I appreciate you all trusting me with this position," Euler said.
The board did not record additional compensation or contract details on the public record during the June 17 meeting; the vote approved the appointment resolution as presented.
