The Hawaii Senate took third reading votes on a package of bills and routine business during its session, approving most measures taken up and defeating one. By voice or recorded counts on the floor, senators passed bills on water pollution, animal spaying and neutering, condominiums, marine life conservation districts, mental health, geothermal resources, University of Hawaii matters and aircraft regulation. A measure relating to marijuana failed on third reading.
