The Wyoming Senate debated House Bill 94, a bill that would change charter school authorization. Sponsor Senator Schueller proposed an amendment that would limit new charter applications to no more than three in a given year for a temporary period; the Senate rejected that amendment. A second proposed amendment that would have required a fiscal-impact report for the joint education, appropriations and the select committee on school facilities also failed on the floor.
