Staff updates: new urban corridor code, Rail Runner permits and upcoming parking work session

City planning staff provided several updates to the Royce City Planning Commission on Feb. 11, including a new urban corridor zoning designation, active building permits on a nearby Rail Runner project, ongoing road-widening work and a scheduled work session on parking rules.

"If you haven't been down by the Rail Runner project between the tracks and the trail, get down there because they're pulling permits quickly and building them just as fast," Steve said. The staff update also referenced congestion related to the widening of 56 and indicated work on 1900 (Lehi) is starting; a commissioner said the work will take time and cause disruption.
