Ada County commissioners approve previously considered subdivision application

The Ada County Board of Commissioners approved a subdivision and rezone application at its Jan. 7 public meeting, directing staff to prepare the final findings of fact, conclusions of law and conditions of approval for the project.

The item was listed as unfinished business. County staff told the board the application related to a subdivision and rezoning the board had considered at a Dec. 18 public hearing. Staff said it had initially recommended denial, but after hearing evidence presented at the December hearing the board voted to approve the request and asked staff to update the record and prepare final documents for the board’s consideration.

Commissioner (mover) moved to approve “project number 202-401 to a vivedash zcdashdadashsdashprcullkinscreek subdivision” and a second was recorded. Chairman Bob Perkins called for the vote; the board responded “Aye” and the motion carried.

Board members did not record any roll-call no votes in the public transcript. The board’s direction instructs staff to revise written findings and conditions and to prepare final documents for signature at a future meeting.

Staff presentation and the board vote took place during the Jan. 7 open meeting; the county will return the revised documents to the board for final action and any signing required.
