At the end of the public meeting Oct. 27, the Davidson County Board of Education voted to go into closed session. The chair cited North Carolina General Statute 143‑318.11 A(1) (personnel/employee privacy), A(3) (attorney‑client privilege/consultation with counsel) and A(6) (to discuss qualifications/appointment/conditions of public officers or employees) and also referenced pending litigation identified in the meeting materials.
