County approves compromise with Highland Crossing developer; accepts subdivision roads for maintenance
Collin County accepted a developer-funded compromise to complete Highland Crossing punch-list items and approved county acceptance of roads within Highland Crossing North for maintenance, both by unanimous votes.

Collin County commissioners approved a compromise agreement with Beaton Path Development/Highland Crossing LLC and Great Midwest Insurance Company that settles outstanding punch-list items from a two-year subdivision maintenance period. The court then voted to accept the roads in Highland Crossing North into county maintenance. Both actions passed 5-0.
