Mendocino County Civil Service Commission approves five classification updates

Mendocino County’s Civil Service Commission on Feb. 19 unanimously approved five classification specification updates and the minutes from the Jan. 15 meeting.

Human Resources presented revisions intended to modernize job descriptions and, in one case, add a required credential. The commission approved updates to the confidential executive coordinator, a modification to the nutritionist role and creation of a new registered dietitian classification, a title and duties change for animal control assistant, updates to the heavy equipment service technician specification, and a clarification of the building maintenance supervisor specification.
