During the Senate floor session a senator from Washington moved to suspend Senate rule 31 and that H.141, “an act relating to fiscal year 2025 budget adjustment,” not be referred to the Committee on Finance. The presiding officer called for the question and a voice vote was taken; the presiding officer announced “the ayes have it,” and the motion passed.
