The Issaquah School District Board of Directors voted to pursue a districtwide examination of the “structure of schools” — options for how grades are grouped and where students attend — and set an implementation target of the 2027–28 school year. The motion, first made with a 2026–27 target, was amended during debate to 2027–28 and approved by the board.
