Separately, a committee substitute (for 28‑40) corrected prior-year bill language, moved the Mississippi State University veterinary school fund from DFA to MSU, adjusted an emergency roads-and-bridges fund number, and transferred responsibility and funding for the Office of Physician Workforce program from UMMC to the Mississippi Department of Health; sponsors said that shift included a transfer amount shown in committee discussions (about $4,030,416 transferred from UMMC to the health department).
