Budget committee advances multiple routine appropriations and appointments to full commission

The Blount County budget committee read a series of resolutions at the workshop and recommended them to the full commission with favorable recommendations. The clerk recorded roll calls for each packet item as read. The resolutions moved forward included emergency management grants, Homeland Security funds, several general‑services appropriations, courthouse repairs, building automation upgrades, clerk office staffing and equipment, juvenile‑court program funding and highway and sheriff opioid funding adjustments.
