Hardee County commissioners on Jan. 16 approved Resolution 2025‑05 to amend the county’s Technical Standards Manual. The amendment adds high‑density polyethylene (HDPE) as an allowable material for culvert and drainage pipe where it meets FDOT specifications and adopts FDOT drainage manual guidance for Manning’s n (roughness coefficients) rather than rely on an obsolete in‑manual table.
