Council approves multiple ordinances, code updates and donation resolutions in packaged votes

The Pasadena City Council on Oct. 7 approved several ordinance packages and a group of donation resolutions in a series of largely uncontested voice votes.

Council members voted to approve minutes and routine items, then carried final-reading ordinances, advanced a set of first-reading ordinances that include funding amendments and code adoptions, and accepted multiple monetary and in-kind donations for parks, the animal shelter and other city programs. Each motion passed by voice vote, recorded in the transcript as "Aye" and "Motion carries." Specific roll-call tallies were not read into the public record during the meeting.
