Human Relations Diversity Board proposes 'Discover Ocoee' multilingual video asset

Kelly Beck, chair of the Human Relations Diversity Board, asked the commission to allow the board to produce a short multilingual video asset called "Discover Ocoee," consisting of 5–10 second clips of residents saying "hello" and "welcome" in their first language.
Beck said the project would be low-cost and voluntary and proposed collecting clips through a Google form with fields for participants' names, country of origin and language. She provided a short proof-of-concept during the meeting.
City staff confirmed the form could be hosted on city servers and said a short statement on the submission form (for example, "I understand I am submitting this to the City of Ocoee for use in promotional materials") would address release concerns. No legal objection was raised during the discussion, and staff agreed to provide the form and publish instructions for submissions.
The board will proceed to collect clips and deliver the assembled asset for city use pending the completion of the submission process.
