This recording is an informal interview about local legends in Doña Ana County. The speaker described being a temporary county employee who interviewed on the third floor of the Doña Ana County Courthouse (off Amador) and said that during one interview the room suddenly became very cold and, shortly afterward, they heard a metal jail cell door slam. The speaker and two colleagues left quickly; the speaker later learned that many longtime county employees reported similar clanking and unexplained temperature drops in those county buildings. The speaker noted they did receive the job despite the incident.
