The Gardner Community Action Committee’s food assistance program has served over 1,000 low‑and‑moderate‑income residents and is approximately halfway through expending its funds.
Staff noted that the Gardner Athletic Program has not yet returned its agreement paperwork and that the city will follow up to ensure those funds can be used. Committee members requested the area median income (AMI) figures for Gardner to contextualize eligibility thresholds at a future meeting.
