Fall River Board of Health approves minutes, sets Dec. 8 meeting; no written citizen input recorded

The Fall River Board of Health approved the minutes from its Sept. 29, 2025 meeting, recorded no citizen input via mail or phone for the Oct. 27 meeting, set its next meeting for Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, and adjourned.

At the start of the meeting, the board asked for additions or corrections to the minutes; after a motion and second, a roll call showed Thomas Corey, Michael Coughlin and Dr. Steven Gagliardi voting yes to approve the minutes. Clerk Sandy Barabie reported no citizen input had been received at that time.

Board members discussed whether to keep the Nov. 24 meeting (the Monday of Thanksgiving week) or move it; Thomas Corey said, “Okay. So we're gonna go with, Monday, December 8.” The meeting concluded after a motion to adjourn that passed on roll call with the same yes votes.

The board also briefly noted staff would provide a testing date for an item discussed near the close of the meeting; staff said a date was expected in late November or early December.
