The Fall River Board of Health voted Oct. 27 to approve a new tattoo establishment license for New Heart Tattoo, 224 Pleasant St., and to grant a practitioner license to Lisonbee Pavo of 40 Scott St., Fall River.
At the meeting, staff member Josh said he inspected the shop on Friday and that “she passed the inspection. It's a brand new build out of the shop.” Josh told the board the applicant’s paperwork was current, including recent bloodborne‑pathogen training.
Board members asked no substantive questions before a motion and second to approve both the establishment and practitioner applications; a roll call showed Thomas Corey, Michael Coughlin and Dr. Steven Gagliardi voting yes. Allison, who attended as a representative, was wished luck by the board after the approvals.
The board and staff noted an incorrect ZIP code in the record for the Pleasant Street address; staff said they would correct it in the official file. No public comment on the tattoo applications was recorded.
The approvals allow New Heart Tattoo to operate at the listed address and allow Lisonbee Pavo to practice at the shop pending completion of any final administrative paperwork required by the health department.
