Three new commissioners sworn into Pinole Community Services Commission

The City of Pinole Community Services Commission administered the oath of office Oct. 22 to three newly appointed commissioners: Romilda Avila, Natalia Cornejo Ayers and Janette Lil Milagro Henriques.
Deputy City Clerk Roxanne Stone assisted with the administration of the oath. Chair Martin and other commissioners welcomed the new members at the meeting; staff noted the additions fill previously vacant seats and bring the commission to a full seven-member body after the recent departure of Commissioner Bob Kopp.
Staff and commissioners outlined next steps: the commission will take its customary November–December recess and resume meetings in January, when commissioners expect to review a proposed work plan and elect a chair and vice chair. The chair and staff encouraged the new commissioners to participate in upcoming community events and in the development of the work plan.
