After a brief executive session to consider planning commission appointments, the Clark County Council moved to appoint Ron Barca to the four‑year planning commission seat and to invite candidates Elden Morgan, Jeremy Baker and Alicia Montgomery for interviews for a six‑year seat. A subsequent motion added Nicole Morris as a fourth candidate for interview. Motions were seconded and passed by voice vote; one member recorded a nay during the vote on adding the fourth interviewee.
