Rice County commissioners on Oct. 28 approved a proclamation designating November 2025 as "Operation Green Light for Veterans," encouraging residents and businesses to illuminate exterior lighting in green to honor veterans, reservists, and guardsmen and to show support for those transitioning from active service.
