City staff provided an update on the smoke-testing program as part of the manager's communications. Miss May introduced the item and said the council was likely familiar with the purpose of the tests; Mr. Fox was present to answer technical questions. Councilor Dakota moved to accept and place the report on file, seconded by Councilor Yelanja; the motion passed.
