Millig, the contractor working on admin‑building millwork, told Cowlitz County commissioners it must delay Zone 2D (clerk’s office) work by one week — from the week of Nov. 10 to the week of Nov. 17 — because high‑profile jury activity reduced available daytime work windows. The contractor proposed and staff accepted moving to a swing shift that starts mobilization at 5 p.m. and runs roughly to 1 a.m., Monday through Thursday, to avoid daytime noise impacts on court operations.
