SUNNYVALE, Calif. — The Sunnyvale City Council interviewed seven applicants Nov. 3 for one vacancy on the Human Relations Commission, the body that advises the city on equity, inclusion and community relations.
Staff told the council there were 13 applicants overall; one withdrew and one could not interview, leaving seven candidates scheduled for tonight’s interviews. The council closed public comment with no speakers and began a roughly two‑hour series of 15‑minute interviews. The council will make an appointment at its Nov. 18 meeting; the city clerk will notify applicants of the outcome.
