The Mineola Board of Trustees ended an executive session and closed its work session after two brief motions and unanimous votes. Deputy Mayor Sartore moved to come out of executive session and Trustee Clark seconded; the presiding official called the vote and declared, “Motion carries.”
The move to close the work session followed later in the meeting. Trustee Clark moved to close the work session and Trustee Soloski seconded; the presiding official again called the vote, members responded “Aye,” and the presiding official said, “Motion carries.”
The motions were procedural steps to end closed deliberations and to adjourn the work session. No additional direction to staff or substantive policy decisions were recorded in the transcript for either motion. The motions were recorded on the meeting record as carried.
