The Senate Committee on Financial Institutions and Insurance moved Senate Bill 139 favorably out of committee. Committee staff described SB 139 as containing corrections to definitions, terms and conditions in the state banking code and provisions concerning trust companies that the Office of the State Bank Commissioner had been working on.
