Several subdivision items continued; Kings Crossing updates ongoing

During new business the plan commission was informed of several subdivision-status updates. Staff said Southern Meadows (SPP-24-4) was continued by the petitioner and will be scheduled again when the petitioner is ready. Bella Vista (SIA-22-28) submitted a request for continuance to August so the petitioner could work with staff and the commission agreed to place it on the August agenda.
Kings Crossing (SIA-22-24) remains under active discussion. Staff said only one lot remains and that the developer requested an extension of the performance period. Staff and the developer's surveyor have provided two different estimates for remaining work; with inflation the gap is widening. The estimates discussed ranged in the neighborhood of $90,000 to $100,000 before inflation adjustments, and staff is working with the petitioner to determine an updated amount and appropriate performance period. No vote was taken on Kings Crossing at this meeting.
Staff also noted a new state requirement to post members' appointed term start and end dates with agendas; staff said the information will appear in packets going forward.
