The fiscal court approved an updated interlocal agreement July 10 that continues Clark County's participation in a 17‑county workforce area under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. Todd Bland, representing the Bluegrass Area Development District and the Kentucky Career Center contractor, said the agreement establishes a framework for distributing federal and state workforce funds and for operating short‑term training, internships and employer recruitment services across the area.
